Guadalupe “Lupe” Estrada was born in Los Angeles, CA. A few years after attending High School she met and married Eddie; the love of her life and the father of her three beautiful girls: Chris, Lulu and Taci.
Lupe returned to work after Taci graduated high school. Her most memorable job was with Hughes Aircraft in the Accounting Department. After the loss of her husband, Eddie and retiring, Lupe moved to Palm Desert. From then on, Lupe traveled all over the world visiting Paris, Tahiti, Egypt, Greece, New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland. The one place she never visited was New York; although in her travels she did have layovers in New York, but never had the opportunity to visit.
Lupe is very well known in our community for her great sense of humor and her boisterous laugh! To this day, she loves drinking Tequila and listening to Mariachi music. Lupe states that her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren are what she is most proud of in this world; she joked, saying that she is much too young to have great grandchildren.
When presenting Lupe as our “This is your life…” recipient she made sure she had her lipstick and crown on before sharing her life with the residents. The Groves of Tustin are all very fortunate to know Lupe and to be a part of her life.
